Introduction

• National Agricultural Library GeoData describes the Geo@NAL project, services, and tools. The GeoData Catalog https://geodata.nal.usda.gov and its metadata creation and management tools are based on the open source GeoNetwork software. The current contents of the catalog are primarily from a pilot project within ARS in 2017-18.

• NAL GeoData User Manual provides details about how to use GeoData for creating and managing GeoData catalog entries.

• Data Submission Checklist provides review guidelines and a checklist for users to follow before and during the record submission process.

• Appendices are primarily reference materials.
